They are a contact poison with a rapid, strong action against fleas, lice, flies and mosquitoes. Pyrethrins act by interfering with the parasite's neuromuscular system and have very low toxicity for the animal host. Piperonyl butoxide acts as a synergist to increase the effectiveness of pyrethrins. Indications Fleas and lice on puppies and kittens; coat conditioning. Precautions First aid. Directions for use Wet coat thoroughly with warm water and apply shampoo at several points; lather and massage well into the coat.
